I have spoken to a number of people recently who are either engaged with the Courts or envisaging that they will be engaged with the Courts in the near future, I cannot stress enough how important it is to familiarise oneself with the actual Courts so the shock of attending Court is not one that a Lay Litigant has to deal with on the day of a hearing when in fact, their head should be solely concentrated on the matter before the Court.
Anybody with impending Court action should, as a priority go down to the Four Courts and firstly, attend a couple of days of the Masters Court, followed by a day or two, or more of attending any of the Motions Court sittings and lastly attend any amount of actual full cases.
